d'Arenberg
McLaren Vale, South Australia
d’Arenberg is a family owned winery located in the picturesque surroundings of McLaren Vale. The property has been in the Osborn family since 1912, and is now into its fourth generation with Chief Winemaker and Viticulturist Chester Osborn at the winemaking helm.
The use of alternative varieties and the insistance on traditional winemaking techniques such as basket pressing and foot treading have made the iconic red stripe a fixture in restaurants and cellars the world over. Wines such as the The Footbolt, The Hermit Crab and The Dead arm can be found in over 60 countries and continue to achieve acclaim with wine judges, journalists and consumers for their quality and value for money.
