Da dah, da daaaaahhhh... Yes, indeed, big congrats to our June top qwoffer Friendy of Woodside, SA - the winner of our June Wine Prize, a Best of Sea & Vines Dozen from our friends in McLaren Vale.

Another stellar effort, and one that shall be richly rewarded.

Hello qwoffers!

Well, some of you may have been expecting to see Qwoff 2.0 up and live by now, and you would be right, but there's been a rather delightful delay in the changeover, and his name is Thomas Henry.

Our newest qwoffer - a little too young to drink wine at the moment, of course, but give him a few years - was born a week before we were due to launch. What's that got to do with the launch of Qwoff 2.0, you may ask? Well, little Tom is our hardworking webmaster's baby boy, so BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Benno, and moreso his long-suffering wife, and he sends his half-hearted apologies for the delay.

So we all have to be a little bit more patient, (and believe me we're chafing at the bit, here at Qwoff HQ), and we'll have the new site up and flying just as soon as we get Ben back on board.

Until then, happy qwoffing and we'll keep you posted!

Mighty effort from a couple of qwoffers last month, one new member and one of our stalwarts. Hoorah to our May top qwoffer missbee of Unley, SA - the winner of our May Wine Prize, a case of DogRidge Shirtfront Shiraz 2006.

And being new to qwoff herself, missbee's win might be something of an inspiration to our newer members out there - join qwoff, write up a few wines, win a tasty dozen... nice.

But it's not just about Top Qwoffers. Our Best Shiraz Review, we're very proud to say, has gone to Blueagle of West End, QLD, for his glowing praise of the Pondalowie Shiraz 2005. If that doesn't get you wanting to try a wine, then nothing will! And Blueagle takes home a very special bottle of Hardys Eileen Hardy Shiraz 2004 for his eloquence.
